View once

South African Maskandi veteran Thokozani Langa has released his latest full-length project, View once, adding a substantial new album to his 2026 catalogue. The project arrived on September 23, 2026, through Somnandi Sun Entertainment and contains 15 tracks with a total runtime of approximately one hour and 25 minutes. The album maintains Langa’s position within the South African traditional music scene while bringing together a combination of solo performances and collaborations. Its title is also reflected in the track “I-view once,” which features Jikijiki and DJ Cleo.

The View once tracklist opens with “Ukufa bekungadli amatshe,” featuring Bonakele and Jumbo, followed by “Ufuna ukufel’ kuphi” and “Abahambe.” Other songs include “I-BBS,” “Amanandinandi,” “I-GNU,” “Bhimbi Zanele,” “Impi yomama,” “Inkanyezi yokusa,” “Ngishel’ bambhoxile,” “Ungena kanjani,” and “Inhlanhla emhlophe.” The album also features Feza Langa on “Inqola yothando” and Thobeka Zungu on “I-bipolar,” giving the project several collaborative moments alongside Langa’s solo material.

For followers of Thokozani Langa and South Africa Maskandi music, View once provides a sizeable collection of new material to explore from an established artist. With 15 songs covering more than 85 minutes, the album gives listeners a complete project rather than a brief release, while its varied tracklist makes room for both familiar solo performances and guest appearances. The project is now available across major music platforms, giving fans an opportunity to experience the latest chapter in Thokozani Langa’s extensive musical catalogue.
