South African singer-songwriter Rowlene enters a new chapter of her artistry with Some Strings Attached, a deeply personal body of work that continues the emotional and introspective songwriting that has become central to her music. The project follows her acclaimed 2020 debut album 11:11 and arrives during a new phase in her career, marked by a series of emotionally focused releases in 2025 and 2026.
Known for her soothing vocals, vulnerable songwriting and ability to turn complicated emotions into intimate R&B records, Rowlene has steadily developed a distinctive place within South Africa's contemporary R&B scene. Her career has also included major collaborations such as Nasty C's “SMA,” which helped introduce her music to a wider audience.
