The Remix EP

Jnr SA and Kabza De Small come together for The Remix EP, a project centred on reimagined versions and the creative possibilities that come with revisiting existing material. The title keeps the concept direct, placing the emphasis on remix culture while the pairing of the two artists gives the project a strong South African identity. Rather than presenting itself as a conventional collection, the EP is positioned around refreshed interpretations that allow familiar material to take on a different character.

The collaboration brings Jnr SA into the same project space as Kabza De Small, creating an appealing combination for followers of amapiano and contemporary African dance music. Across a remix-focused release, the interest comes not only from the songs themselves but also from hearing how an alternative approach can reshape their presentation. For listeners who enjoy DJ-driven projects, updated arrangements and recognizable names working within the same musical environment, The Remix EP offers a focused listening experience built around that concept.

With The Remix EP, Jnr SA and Kabza De Small add another collaborative project to the South African music landscape. The straightforward title makes the EP easy to identify, while the artists involved provide a strong point of entry for fans exploring new remix material. Those following Jnr SA or Kabza De Small can turn to the project for a collection that places reinterpretation at the heart of its musical identity.
