Moshana Lihlabeng

South African artist Cityzeen Ls presents “Moshana Lihlabeng,” a culturally expressive album that carries a strong Sesotho identity. The project adds another significant body of work to Cityzeen Ls’s catalogue, highlighting his connection to indigenous-language music and contemporary Southern African sounds.

The title “Moshana Lihlabeng” immediately gives the album a distinctive identity. Its Sesotho wording creates curiosity around the project’s wider story and themes while reinforcing the cultural character that runs through Cityzeen Ls’s music.

Rather than focusing on a single track, an album gives Cityzeen Ls the opportunity to present a broader collection of musical ideas. “Moshana Lihlabeng” can therefore be approached as a complete project through which listeners can explore different expressions, moods, and perspectives from the artist.
